Drum Flight Warranty

Applies to the following products manufactured by Kenco Engineering:
  • Drum Flight Castings only. Base plates and mounting brackets are excluded from warranty.
  • Does not apply to Kenco Combustion Flights, Discharge Flights, or Spiral Flight Shoes.
The Castings used on Kenco Engineering Drum Mixer and Aggregate Dryer Flights are warranted for a period of 5 years from date of invoice. Should wear or failure of Kenco Castings cause the flights not to provide at least 95% of original veiling characteristics, Kenco will replace the Castings for a pro-rated price based on the percentage of unrealized wear life. All warranty claims must be received in writing within 30 days after Castings have been removed from service. Kenco reserves the right to require return of worn Castings to the factory at Kenco's expense.

Paver Floor Warranty

Applies to the following products manufactured by Kenco Engineering:
  • asphalt paver floors
  • material transfer vehicle C-3 floor
  • CR662 load out conveyor floor
Kenco Engineering asphalt paving machine floors are guaranteed for 5 years from date of invoice. If floors wear out in less than 5 years Kenco will replace them for a pro-rated price based on the percentage of unrealized wear life. All claims must be received in writing within 30 days after floors have been removed from service. Kenco reserves the right to require return of worn floors to the factory at Kenco's expense.

Screed Plate Stud Warranty

Applies to the following products manufactured by Kenco Engineering:
  • screed plate studs
Studs installed on Kenco Screed Plates are warranted to be free from defect in workmanship. Because it is normal for studs to occasionally break loose, studs on Kenco Screed Plates are spaced closely enough so that the loss of random studs will not affect screed performance. However, the loss of 3 consecutive studs in one row, or 5 or more studs on any one screed plate, does constitute a warranty claim. If this occurs, studs will be replaced by Kenco free of charge.

Slat Floor Warranty

Applies to the following products manufactured by Kenco Engineering:
  • .750" thick or greater, 700 Brinell slat conveyor floor wear plates

Kenco Engineering Slat Conveyor Wear Plate Warranty:

  • Kenco Engineering .750" thick or greater, 700 Brinell wear plates are warranted for a service life of 5 million tons, or 8 years from date of invoice, whichever occurs first.
  • All Conditions of Warranty (see below) must be met.
  • Warranty is offered on a "pro-rated" basis. A credit for the value of unused service life will be applied to order for replacement parts only. Original invoice price determines the credit value. Replacement parts must be purchased at price in effect when the warranty claim is accepted.
  • Kenco Engineering will not accept responsibility for non-Kenco parts, equipment, freight charges, surcharges, installation costs, or any other costs that may be associated with the replacement of Slat Conveyor Floor wear plates.

Conditions of Warranty:

  • Applies to Kenco Engineering .750" thick or greater, 700 Brinell Wear Plates only.
  • Product must be used to convey asphalt.
  • Wear Plates must be properly installed on a sub-floor that is flat and structurally capable of supporting both wear plates and asphalt without deflection under load.
  • Slat conveyor system must be properly operated, serviced, and all manufacturer required adjustments maintained during the warranty period. Drag slats must run smoothly and flat in the conveyor at all times. Two conditions that can cause premature wear and void the warranty are:
    • Slat Bounce - can cause premature wear. Failure to maintain proper chain tension and/or idler adjustment can cause uneven wear, as evidenced by an evenly spaced "sine wave" wear pattern. This condition can lead to reduced service life and void the warranty.
    • Slat Slap - can cause premature wear. Slats that "slap" the wear plates as they enter the conveyor at the bottom or exit at discharge can cause premature wear. This condition can lead to reduced service life and void the warranty.
  • All claims for credit based on the warranty must be submitted in writing.
  • All Slat Conveyor wear plates claimed for the warranty must be returned freight prepaid to Kenco Engineering.
  • Kenco Engineering reserves the right to inspect/examine the installation, components, and operation of the facility where the claimed parts performed.
  • Kenco Engineering reserves the right to exclude the warranty on replacement parts for specific applications or operations.

TCI Cutting Edge Warranty

Kenco Engineering warrants all Tungsten Carbide Impregnated (TCI) products manufactured by Kenco to provide equal or better cost per hour service than comparable Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. Customer Supplied products and purchased components, such as tooth castings, are not covered by this warranty.  Claims must be in writing, and must include:
  • Total machine hours obtained with Kenco TCI parts
  • Total machine hours obtained with OEM parts
  • Original invoice for comparable OEM parts
  • Certification by the user that Kenco TCI parts and OEM parts were subject to similar operating wear conditions
Kenco's liability in such claims is limited to the total cost per hour difference between Kenco TCI parts and comparable OEM parts, not to exceed the original invoice amount. At its option, Kenco will either supply the user with additional Kenco TCI parts at reduced price, or issue a credit to the user's account. All claims must be received in writing within 30 days after TCI parts have been removed from service. Kenco reserves the right to require return of worn TCI parts to the factory at Kenco's expense.
